Maturi Venkata Subbarao Engineering College,Sponsered by Matrusri Eductaion Society,was founded in 1981 with three disiplines.
Over the years it has grown in stature and is presently acknowledegd as a premier technical institue in Telenagana.The current annual intake is 1020.The institute has well qualified and experienced faculty members and ably supported by technical assistants.The college offers BE 4-Year Degree Programs in Civil,ECE,EEE,CSE,IT,Mechanical and Automobile Engineering disciplines. This college has been recognized by Osmania University as a Centre for pursuing research leading to the award of Ph.D. Degree in the Disciplines of CSE, ECE and Mechanical Engineering. It is an ISO 9001:2015 certified Institute. The Programs are affiliated to Osmania University and are approved by AICTE. The College is accredited by NAAC and B.E programs in CSE, Civil, ECE, EEE, Mech & IT are accredited by NBA. The College also has post- graduate program in M.E. for Mech. (CAD / CAM), ECE (Embedded Systems & VLSI Design), M.Tech. (CSE) and M.B.A. The College received Autonomous Status in 2021.
About the Department of Information Technology:
The Department of Information Technology was started in the year 2000 with an intake of 60. The current annual intake is 180.The Department has well qualified and experienced staff, well equipped laboratories, good computational facilities and distinguished alumni spread across the globe.
